Playing

I have performed at Celtic Connections with the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and award-winning band, Ape House. Other festivals I've played at are Knockengorroch Festival, Stonrhaven Folk Festival, Rothbury Traditional Music Festival, Alnwick International Music Festival, and the Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering.
I have played live music for various corporate and private functions, such as weddings, conferences, and sessions, since 2013.


My work with other artists includes playing for The Sound of Dance Project with step dancer Kae Sakurai, and the aforementioned contemporary trad' band Ape House with Clare fiddler Craig Harrison and Highland guitar and banjo player Lachie Robinson.

 

I also enjoy competing, and have won the miscellaneous instrument open competition at the 2018 and 2019 Morpeth Northumbrian Gathering, as well as the 2019 All-Britain Fleadh senior misc. instrument solo.​
